Nimodiya Overseas

Nimodiya Overseas is located at C-10 in Ballabh Bari. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood, which makes it a decent place to focus on our daily work without too much noise. We deal with various goods that need to be sent abroad, so there is always a lot of coordination with shipping lines and customs people. The office is basically a converted part of a house. We have a few computers and a printer that tends to jam every now and then when we are in a hurry. My cousin helps me with the documentation because the rules for exporting goods keep changing every few months. We have samples of the products we trade scattered around the wooden shelves. Some are textiles, others are small handicrafts or parts. It mostly depends on what the buyers from other countries are looking for at the moment. We spend a lot of time writing emails and waiting for the different time zones to match up so we can talk to people in Europe or the Middle East. Sometimes the internet goes out during a heavy rainstorm, and we just have to sit and wait it out. It is not a high-pressure corporate environment at all. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the local news. The garden outside C-10 has some nice plants that we try to keep alive, though the summer heat makes it difficult. We have been here for years now.
