New Jodhpuri Mojari Makers is right on the Chhawani Main Road, so we hear the trucks and bikes going by all day. It is quite a dusty spot, but it’s where we do all our work. We spend most of our time sitting on the floor, working with the leather and the needles. The smell of the hides is something you just get used to after a while, though visitors sometimes mention it. It’s honest work, even if it’s slow and makes our backs ache. We just like seeing someone walk out with a pair that fits them right.
