Narayana I I T J E E Academy

We are over in Indira Vihar, right in the Talwandi area. If you know Kota, you know this part of town is basically just students everywhere you look. Our academy is at number 0, which sounds a bit strange, but it’s where we are. The building is usually full of the sound of people talking and the scratching of pens on paper. It’s a pretty intense atmosphere because everyone is worried about the IIT JEE exams. We have rows of benches that are bolted to the floor and the walls are covered with some old notices and schedules. It’s not a very fancy place. We just provide the space and the materials for the students to get through their work. The fans on the ceiling hum pretty loudly, which is the background noise for most of our days. Sometimes the local food vendors outside get pretty loud too, especially around lunch. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; we just open the doors and the students come in because they need a place to study and prepare. It’s a lot of long hours for everyone involved. We just keep the lights on and make sure there’s enough chalk for the teachers. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense kind of setup in a very busy part of the city. There is always a stack of books near the door waiting to be sorted.
