About Nandini Minerals – Metals & Minerals in Kota
We spend most of our time here in Ramganj Mandi, right across from the Kumbkot Colony. It is a busy spot and the dust from the minerals usually covers everything by noon. My father started things out and now we just keep it going. Most mornings start with a cup of tea while we wait for the first trucks to pull in. The sun gets pretty hot out here on the road, but we have a small office where we handle the paperwork. It isn't anything fancy, just a couple of desks and some chairs that have seen better days. We deal with minerals all day long, so your hands stay pretty rough and your boots are always gray. People from the colony walk by and wave, and sometimes they stop to complain about the noise, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the gate and the piles of material waiting to be moved. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather turns bad or the machines act up. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the orders are ready and the trucks get loaded correctly. It is hard work and it gets tiring, but this is what we know. Being right here opposite the colony makes it easy for folks to find us if they need to talk about a delivery or just check on what we have in stock and see how things are going with the latest batch.
