Nanak General Store

Our shop, Nanak General Store, is tucked away at Shoap No 41 Gma Plaza, right on the Main Road in the Subzi Mandi area of Kota. It’s a pretty lively spot because of the vegetable market being so close. We get a lot of people coming in who are also heading over to the New Cloth Market or just passing through Kota-Rajasthan 324006. The plaza can get a bit crowded, especially on weekends, but we’ve gotten used to the noise and the constant movement. I usually get here early to sweep the front and check what we’re running low on. We carry the basic stuff like spices, oil, and snacks that the local families need. To be honest, it’s just a lot of hard work and long hours, but seeing the same faces every day makes it feel worth it. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Kota or anything like that. We just want to make sure when someone needs something for their kitchen, they can find it here without much trouble. The heat in Rajasthan during the summer is something else, so the fan in the shop is always going full speed. It's a simple life, just minding the store and chatting with the other shopkeepers in Gma Plaza when things get quiet in the afternoons. Sometimes we share a tea while watching the crowds go by on the main road outside the vegetable market.
