N K Granite & Mines

Our place, N K Granite & Mines, is over in Borkheda Colony. We are situated in Lajpat Nagar, right near the Gramin Police Nine Borkheda. It’s a dusty kind of job, working with stone and mines, but someone has to do it. We’ve been around this part of town for a while. You can usually hear us working before you see us. There’s always slabs of granite being moved around or trucks coming in and out of the yard. It isn't a quiet office job, that’s for sure. Our clothes usually have stone dust on them by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work and go home to our families. The location near the police line makes it easy to give directions to people who haven't been here before. Lajpat Nagar is a decent area for a business like ours. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or big signs. Most of our tools are old but they still work just fine. If you come by Borkheda Colony, you’ll see us out there in the yard. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and sweating, but we don’t mind the honest work. Sometimes the weather is rough, but we just keep pushing through the stone. It takes a certain kind of person to do this day after day without getting tired of it. It is just real work for real people.
