Muskan Pan Palace

Our shop is Muskan Pan Palace, located in the Bhimpura Industrial Area. We are right on National Highway No 12, near the Dara Station and Kasar in Cablenagar. It’s a spot that sees a lot of action from the highway traffic. Every day, we see hundreds of trucks go by. Some of them stop, and some don't. We are just here for the ones that do. The shop is small, and we keep it simple. We prepare the pan fresh and keep a few other things on the shelves for the travelers. The ground is often dusty because of the industrial activities around us. We have a small radio that we listen to while we wait for customers. Dara Station is just a short walk away, so we get some people coming from the trains too. It’s a hot part of the country, so shade is hard to find. We try to make our little corner comfortable. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just a pan shop on the side of a busy road. We’ve met people from all over who are just passing through to somewhere else. It’s interesting to hear their stories for a minute or two. We stay open late because the highway never really sleeps. It’s just our way of life here in Cablenagar. We keep going and keep the shop ready for whoever shows up next. There is always a layer of grit on the chairs.
