Mundra Stones

You can find Mundra Stones at C-150 on Road No. 5 in the I.P.I.A. district. It's a standard industrial setup where we spend most of our time dealing with slabs of all kinds. The yard is usually full of different blocks and cut pieces waiting to be picked up. We don’t really have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s mostly just us, the stone, and the forklifts. We spend a lot of time checking the veins in the marble or the grain in the granite to see how it looks under the light. Sometimes the yard gets a bit messy when we are busy, but we try to keep it sorted so people can actually see what they are buying. We aren't big on sales talk; the stone usually speaks for itself when someone sees a piece they like. Most of our customers are regulars who have been buying from this area for years. We just stay here, keep the gates open, and make sure we have enough variety in the back. It’s a lot of standing around on concrete and moving heavy stuff, but that’s the life of a stone yard. We just try to be reliable and get the pieces cut to the right size when someone asks. It's a simple way to make a living and we don't try to make it seem like anything else.
