M/S Stone Shippers Kota

You can find us at 365 A in Mahaveer Nagar Ist, right behind the Government Higher Secondary School on Jhalawar Road. Being in Kota, stone is a big part of what happens here. We spend our days dealing with shipping and moving stone from one place to another. The yard gets pretty dusty with all the trucks coming in and out, but that is just part of the business. We have been at this spot for a long time and the school kids walking by in the morning usually see us already starting our work. It’s heavy work, but we have a good crew who knows how to handle the slabs without breaking them. We don’t really do much in the way of marketing. Most of our orders come from builders who have been buying from us for years. The office is just a small room at the front where we keep the logs and the phone. Sometimes we have to wait a while for the trucks to arrive because of delays on the road from the quarries. We just sit out front and have some chai while we wait. It’s not a complicated business, but it takes a lot of coordination to get the right stone to the right place at the right time. We just do our best to stay on top of the orders and keep the trucks moving. The heat in Kota can be something else, but we just keep at it.
