Moon Moon Confectionery

You can find Moon Moon Confectionery right on Nayapura Main Road, near the Khatri Phatak. Being near the crossing means we see a lot of people waiting for trains or just passing through. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with glass jars and packets of snacks. We spend our mornings setting everything up and making sure the jars are full. Kids from the neighborhood come by after school quite often. It gets a bit noisy, but we like the energy. We’ve got all the usual stuff you’d expect from a local confectionery. The building is older, and the floor is a bit uneven in places, but it works for what we need. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who take turns behind the counter. Sometimes we run out of things faster than we can restock them. Dealing with the heat in the summer can be tough since the shop faces the sun for part of the day. We just pull the shade down and keep going. People know us as the place near the phatak. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a place to get some sweets or a quick snack while you’re on your way somewhere else. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of our regulars by their first names or at least their faces.
