Mona Telecom And Gifts sits at 365 Shopping Centre on the main road. It is a noisy spot because of all the traffic on Gumanpura Road. We do two things here, handling mobile phone recharges and selling gift items. One side of the shop has glass cases with phone accessories like chargers and earphones. The other side is where we keep the gifts, mostly things like perfumes, wallets, and dolls. It gets crowded because people come in to pay their bills or fix their phones and then they start looking at the toys. I am usually busy on the computer doing the recharges or talking to someone about their data plan. The shelves with the gifts can get a bit messy because children like to pick things up. We have a big glass door that lets in a lot of sunlight, which is nice in the winter but makes it hot in June. There is a small television in the corner that we keep on for the news. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions because we are right on the main road. We keep a stock of different gift wraps, mostly the ones with cartoons or flowers on them. It is a lot of work managing both the telecom stuff and the shop items, but it keeps the day moving fast. We usually close up late once the traffic outside starts to thin out.
