Mohit General Store

You can find us over in Saraswati Colony, right along the Kota Baran Road. This general store has been our life for quite some time now. We sell a little bit of everything, from household cleaners to small gift items and basic stationery. It’s one of those places where you can stop by if you forgot one thing on your way home from the market. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space on the walls and the floor. We open early in the morning and stay open until the sun goes down and even later. Most of our customers live right here in the colony, so it feels more like a community spot than a big shop. We don't have any big marketing plans or fancy ads; we just put the boards out and wait for people to come in. There is always a lot of dust because of the main road nearby, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass jars and the snack packets. It’s a quiet business mostly, except for the busy evening hours when everyone is out. We handle everything ourselves, from ordering the stock to helping people find what they need on the crowded shelves. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and we enjoy seeing the same faces every day. Nothing fancy here, just a regular shop providing the basics for the colony.
