Mohan Kirana & Genral Store

Mohan Kirana & Genral Store is located over at Plot No - 216 on the Kishorpura Main Road. We are quite close to the Kishorpura Puliya so there is always a lot of traffic passing by. In Kota-Rajasthan, the summers get really intense so we keep the shop as cool as we can with just a ceiling fan. We sell all the usual general items that households in this part of town need every day. You can find different brands of washing powder, bundles of matches, and loose grains. The shop isn't very large and we have stuff piled up pretty high to make use of the space. It gets a bit chaotic when the school kids come in for snacks all at once. We spend our time counting out change and refilling the jars of pulses. Near Kishorpura Puliya, everyone knows everyone so there is a lot of chatting while we weigh out the vegetables or flour. We don't have fancy displays, just wooden shelves that have seen a lot of years. Sometimes we forget to update the ledger right away when things are busy. It is just a local business trying to keep up with the daily needs of the people living around here. We try to keep the staples like rice and wheat in stock so nobody has to go too far. The floor is concrete and we sweep it out a few times a day to keep it clean.
