At Modi Auto Repair Parts, we are located in the Shopping Centre Shopping Center area, which sounds a bit funny when you say it out loud. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with things like brake pads, filters, and gaskets. It is a place where you will definitely get some grease on your clothes if you lean against the wrong shelf. We spend most of our day looking up part numbers in old catalogs or helping a mechanic figure out why a certain piece does not fit right. The floor is made of rough stone and has some oil stains that just will not come out, no matter how much we scrub. We have a small bench outside where we sometimes sit to catch a bit of a breeze. The air in the shopping center is usually filled with the sound of people talking and carts being rolled around. We do not have any fancy displays; we just stack the boxes where they will fit. It is a lot of work keeping track of everything, but we have got a system that works for us. Most of the people who come in are in a hurry to get back to their workshops, so we try to find what they need quickly. It is a basic, honest way to make a living, and we have been doing it in this same spot for a long time now.
