Down on Road No. 5 in the Industrial Area, you will find our place, Mittal Pigments Pvt. Ltd. It is an industrial neighborhood, so there is always noise and the smell of production in the air around us. We work with colors and chemicals, basically. It is messy work, to be honest. You cannot really walk through the floor without getting a bit of colored dust on your shoes. We have been at this specific location for a good bit of time now, and most of the guys working here have been with us since the very start. We do not have a big fancy reception area because most of our time is spent back where the mixing happens. Usually, we are busy trying to get the shades just right for the batches. If the light is off in the factory, it is hard to tell, so we have to be very careful. It is a lot of lifting heavy bags and making sure the machinery is running smooth. When things break down, we fix them ourselves mostly. Road No. 5 gets pretty crowded with lorries in the afternoon, which makes loading a bit of a headache, but we have learned how to time it. We are not a giant corporation with thousands of employees, just a local outfit doing our part in the supply chain. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but the actual production never stops. It is just honest work in a loud part of town.
