Mira Stationers & Gift Centre

People know us here at Mira Stationers & Gift Centre because we have been sitting in Dadwara near Kota Junction for quite a long time now. It is a busy part of town and there is always some noise from the trains or the traffic outside. We mostly spend our mornings arranging the notebooks and pens on the shelves. Sometimes someone comes in looking for a specific kind of diary or a pen that writes just right, and we spend a few minutes digging through the back to find it. The gift side of the shop stays pretty busy too, especially when there are birthdays in the neighborhood. We have various things like cards and small showpieces that people pick up on their way home. It is not a huge place but it is ours. We open up early and stay until the evening when the market starts to quiet down. The lights in the shop aren't the brightest but they do the job. You can usually find one of us sitting by the counter reading the paper when things get slow. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names or at least by what they usually buy. It’s just a normal shop where we try to keep the basics in stock for the students and the families living around the junction. Nothing fancy, just the usual stuff you would expect to find in a local stationers where things are a bit dusty but honest.
