About Mehara Photo Framing & Gift Shop – Gifts in Kota
Mehara Photo Framing & Gift Shop is tucked away in Masjid Gali on Station Road. It’s a narrow street, so it can get a bit crowded with cycles and people walking. We mostly do framing for photos and paintings. People bring in their family pictures or religious posters, and we put them in wooden or plastic frames. We also keep a selection of gifts on the side. The shop smells a bit like wood dust and glue most of the time. My family has been running this for a long time. The sign outside is a bit faded, but people in the alley know where we are. Station Road is always busy, but Masjid Gali is a little different. We’ve been doing this for years, so our hands are used to the glass and the frames. It’s not a fancy job, but it’s what we do. We don't have a lot of space for customers to sit, so they usually stand and watch us work. The gift items are mostly things we think people in the area might like. We aren't trying to be a big store, just a reliable place for a frame or a small present. Sometimes we get orders for many frames at once, and then the shop gets really full of materials. We just keep working until the sun goes down and then head home.
