Mayoor Confectionary

Mayoor Confectionary is located right near the Kota Junction. Because we are so close to the railway station, we see all sorts of different people every single day. There are travelers catching their trains, people just arriving home, and locals who live near the tracks. It is a very busy area with a lot of shouting and horns honking all the time. Our shop is a place where you can grab a quick snack or some biscuits for a long journey. We stock a lot of different things like chocolates, chips, and small cakes. We spend a lot of our time just unpacking boxes and making sure the shelves do not look empty. Since we are at the Junction, we have to stay open for very long hours. Sometimes it gets a bit quiet during the late-night shifts, but then a train arrives and the shop fills up again instantly. We do not have a fancy interior; it is just rows of shelves and a counter where we take the money. We have learned to work fast because people are usually in a big hurry to catch their ride. We try to keep the items fresh for everyone. It is an interesting place to work because you hear so many stories from people who are traveling across the country. We are just a small part of their trip, providing a bit of food before they head out.
