Mateshwary Gift Shop

You can find Mateshwary Gift Shop over at C 4/4 in Dadabadi Vikas Yojana. It is right in the middle of Gumanpura where things are always a bit busy. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of wall space for the shelves. We have things like decorative vases, some heavy glass bowls, and heaps of colorful ribbons. I spend a lot of time organizing the items because they get moved around by people looking through the stacks. We have some wind chimes hanging near the entrance that make a little noise when there is a breeze. The air in here usually smells like the incense sticks we light in the morning. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and we have to move boxes around in the heat. It is a simple life running a gift shop like this. We have a small stool for customers to sit on if they are waiting for a long time for us to pack a big item. The light bulbs inside are a bit yellow, which makes the shop look a certain way in the evening. Most of our stock is stuff like keychains, small toys, and showpieces for houses. We don't use any computers here, just a paper ledger to keep track of what we spend on new stock. It is just a regular local business where we know the people living on the next street.
