Marwari Spices Pulses is located in Chomu, right in the heart of the New Grain Mandi at B-61. Being in the mandi means we are surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the agricultural trade every single day. It’s a loud, energetic place with tractors and carts moving around from early morning. We focus on spices and pulses, mostly because that’s what we know best. Our shop is filled with the smell of dried lentils and various ground spices. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most of our business happens face-to-face with people who come into the mandi to buy and sell. The walls are lined with bags and containers, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but that's just how a mandi shop is. We spend our time checking the quality of the grains and making sure the spices are fresh. It’s a lot of manual sorting and weighing. We've been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the seasons change the types of crops coming through. The floor is usually covered in a bit of dust from the grain, and we’re constantly sweeping it up. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just here to provide staple foods to the people who need them. It's a basic, functional business that keeps us connected to the local farmers and families around Chomu.
