Manay Beauty & Gift Centre

The shop is right across from Ganpati Banquet Hall here in Talwandi. It's a busy spot, especially when there’s a wedding or some function happening over there at the hall. People usually run across the street because they forgot a small gift or maybe they need some last-minute hair clips or makeup to fix themselves up before the party starts. We’ve been at 4-C-9 for a while now. The shelves are mostly filled with things like bangles, lotions, and those little gift sets that come in the shiny boxes. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in here when a group of ladies comes in together to look at the new stock. The lights can be a bit bright, but you need that to see the colors of the lipsticks properly. We try to keep things tidy but with so many small items, something is always slightly out of place. It’s mostly just us here every day, opening up in the morning and staying until the market slows down at night. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know where we are because of the banquet hall. If you walk in, you’ll probably see me or one of the other girls behind the counter counting stock or helping someone find a specific shade of nail polish. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop. Nothing too complicated or fancy about it, just a lot of stuff packed into a small space for the locals.
