Mahaveer Kirana&General Store

We are over on Keshavpura Road, at Mahaveer Kirana&General Store. This is Sector 7, and it’s a busy little stretch of road. My shop is one of those places where you can find a bit of everything. I have the grocery side with all the rice and pulses, but I also keep general items like plastic buckets, mops, and light bulbs. It makes the shop look a bit cluttered, but people seem to find what they need eventually. I spend a lot of time checking the expiry dates on the milk packets and bread. If the fridge stops working, it’s a big problem, so I’m always listening for that hum. The traffic on the road is pretty constant, so there’s always a bit of noise from the horns and engines. I have a small counter where I sit and do the billing. I don't use any fancy machines, just a calculator and a pen. My son helps me out in the evenings when the office crowd starts stopping by on their way home. We try to keep things that the local families use every day. It’s not a glamorous job, and my hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the sacks of flour, but it’s what I do. People know me here and they know they can get their daily supplies without any trouble. It’s just a regular local business and we try to keep the shelves full as much as possible for everyone.
