Maharaja Genarel Store

Maharaja Genarel Store is a small, local business located right on Geeta Bhawan Road. The road itself is a mix of people going to work and kids heading to school, so we see a lot of the same faces every single day. Our store is the kind of place where you stop in for the little things you forgot to buy, like a bar of soap, some tea leaves, or a packet of biscuits. The shelves are packed tight, and we have bags and snacks hanging from the rafters to save space. It’s not a big, polished supermarket, but we try to keep a bit of everything on hand. The shop feels very personal because we’ve been here so long. There is a small desk where we keep our accounts, and a fan that squeaks a little as it turns. Working on Geeta Bhawan Road means you are always part of the neighborhood chatter. We spend our time restocking the shelves and talking to the neighbors who drop by. We don't have a website or any big advertisements. People just know we are here when they need something quick. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several people want different things at once, and we have to climb up a ladder to reach a box on the top shelf. It’s just a regular life in a regular shop. We open the doors in the morning and stay until the street gets quiet at night, just doing what we've always done.
