Madhur Provision Store

Madhur Provision Store is at number 9, Shivam Appartment Kai Nicha in Gumanpura, Kota. We are in the Sindhi Colony area and the Subzi Mandi is quite close to us. Because we are near the vegetable market, it is always very lively in the mornings. People buy their fresh veggies there and then they come to us for their dry goods and provisions. The shop is on the ground floor of the apartment building. It is a bit small, so we have to use every bit of wall space we have for the goods. We keep mostly food items and things for the house like soaps and oils. The smell of spices is quite strong inside because we keep some of them open in bins. We have been here for a long time and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are always too busy to get around to it. Usually, it is just one of us sitting at the wooden desk near the door waiting for customers. We recognize most of the voices before we even see the faces of the neighbors. Sometimes we drink tea with the other shopkeepers nearby when it is slow in the afternoon. It is a simple routine that we follow every day. We do not have a website or anything like that. If people need something, they just walk over and ask for it.
