M. M. Earthmovers

Out here at Rhd Colony, things move a bit slower than in the main city but the machines are definitely bigger. We’ve been at No-S/18 in Walab Wari for a good long time now. It’s mostly just dealing with heavy gear and making sure the earthmovers are ready for whatever job comes up next. The yard can get pretty muddy when it rains, which is a pain, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We started small and just kept adding more stuff as the years went by. It isn't a flashy place at all. It’s more about the grease and the metal. Most of our neighbors are doing similar work or living nearby, so it feels like a real community. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out in the back looking at parts. Sometimes people come by looking for advice on a machine and we just talk it through over a chair. It’s not corporate or anything, just a bunch of guys who know how these big things work. The sun gets hot in the afternoons but we have a bit of shade. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in the world, just trying to get the day's work done without too much trouble. If you’re driving through the colony, you can’t really miss the big yellow machines parked up. We don't really have a fancy website or a marketing person telling us what to say. We just answer the phone and try to help.
