Lochab Stone

Out here on Mukti Marg in the Kota district, we run Lochab Stone. We are near the Borabas post office, which is a quiet little area compared to the main city. Our daily life involves a lot of heavy lifting and looking at different types of rock and stone. It's a bit out of the way, but we like the space we have here. There is plenty of room to keep our materials without tripping over each other. The air is usually a bit clearer out this way, though the stone cutting does kick up some grit. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to provide the local area with what they need for their homes or projects. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the land and the people quite well. The workday starts early when the light is good. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the slabs that come in from the quarries. It's a manual job and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. Sometimes the phone rings, but mostly people just drive up to see what we have. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, just look for whoever is wearing the dustiest clothes. That’s probably one of us. We just keep things moving, day by day.
