Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

Our office here in Kota is located at House Number 2-N-2 in the Talwandi area. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part, which makes it a decent place to focus on work without too many distractions. The house has been converted into an office for Larsen & Toubro Ltd., so it feels more like a home than a workplace. We have a few rooms dedicated to different parts of the project management and administrative tasks. There’s always someone coming in with a new set of plans or a request for supplies. Rajasthan summers can be brutal, so the coolers are always running full blast to keep us from melting while we work. We don't have any fancy boardrooms, just a big table where we sit and discuss the day’s tasks over some hot tea. It’s a very informal atmosphere where everyone chips in and helps out. We handle a lot of the local infrastructure coordination from this spot. The garden in the front is a bit overgrown, but it gives us a nice place to stand and talk when the weather is actually pleasant in the evenings. We’ve been in Talwandi for a while and the locals know us. It’s just a group of us trying to keep the projects organized and the schedules met. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just people doing their jobs and making sure things get built correctly in the region. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay on top of the paperwork.
