Kota Paniharin Saree

Our shop, Kota Paniharin Saree, is located at Vakil Kalyan Prasad House in the Old Dhanmandi area of Kota. This part of the city is quite old and has a lot of history. The building itself has been around for a long time. We aren't in a modern shopping mall with escalators. We are in a traditional space that feels like the old days. We specialize in the sarees that Kota is famous for. It’s a lot of work handling these delicate fabrics. We spend our days unfolding them for customers and then carefully folding them back up so they don't get creased. The light in the old building is a bit dim sometimes, but it keeps the place cool during the hot Rajasthan summers. We are a small group of people working here. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing department. We just have our knowledge of the cloth and our regular customers who have been coming to this house for years. It’s a quiet kind of business compared to the new parts of town. We don't do flashy promotions. We just rely on the quality of the work and the fact that people know where to find us. Living and working in Old Dhanmandi means we are part of the history here, and we just try to keep that going every day.
