Kota Dal Mill

Kota Dal Mill is based at IPIA E-4. We are right in the heart of the industrial area where a lot of the processing happens. The mill has been running for a long time. It is a big space filled with machines for cleaning and grinding the pulses. There is always a layer of fine dust in the air and the smell of raw grain. We get truckloads of raw material coming in from the farms. Our job is to process it and get it ready for the market. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and keeping an eye on the machinery to make sure nothing jams up. The workers here know the rhythm of the place. We don't have a fancy office; just a small corner with a desk where we keep the ledgers and records. Being at E-4 in IPIA makes it easy for the big transport trucks to find us. We don't do any big marketing campaigns. The quality of the dal we produce speaks for itself, and word spreads among the traders. Some days are longer than others, especially during the harvest season when everyone wants their stock processed at once. We just keep the motors running and do the work as it comes. It is a basic operation, focused on doing one thing well. Kota Dal Mill is just part of the local industry here, keeping the food supply moving. It is hard work but it is what we do.
