Kota Crane Service

We’ve been here at S 5 Ipia Road No 5 for a while now. It’s mostly just us and the machines every morning. Kota Crane Service isn't a big fancy office or anything like that. It is a yard where we keep the cranes ready for when someone needs something moved. Some days it is quiet and we just check the oil or fix a small leak on one of the older trucks. Other days the phone starts ringing at six in the morning and we don't get back until late. People around here know where we are. It’s a dusty spot on Road No 5 but it works for what we do. My hands are usually covered in grease by noon. That’s just how it goes when you deal with heavy equipment. We don’t have a big team of people answering phones. Usually, if you call, you just get one of us who is actually out there working. We try to keep things simple. If a machine needs to go out, we get it there. The traffic on Ipia Road can be a real pain sometimes, especially in the afternoons. We’ve learned the shortcuts over the years. It’s just honest work, day in and day out. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing things down. We just focus on the cranes and making sure they don't break down when they are needed. Most of our tools are pretty old but they still do the job fine.
