Kohinoor Watch Center

Our shop is tucked away in Masjid Gali, right by Kota Junction. If you know the area, you know it is always moving with people coming and going from the station. We have been in this little lane for a while. The noise from the trains and the crowds is just part of our daily background. Inside Kohinoor Watch Center, it is a bit different. We have watches everywhere. Some are for sale, but a lot of them are just waiting for parts or for their owners to come back and pick them up. It can get a bit messy on the workbench with all the tiny gears and springs laying around, but we know where everything is. We handle everything from basic digital watches to those old mechanical ones that need winding. It’s funny how people still rely on a wristwatch even when they have phones. We get a lot of travelers stopping in because they realized their watch died right as they got off the train. We try to help them out quickly so they can catch their next connection. The lighting in the shop isn't the best, so we use those bright desk lamps to see what we are doing. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the last train rush. The trains shaking the ground doesn't bother us anymore. We just keep our heads down and keep working. Sometimes the light flickers but we just tap it and keep going.
