Kavita General Store

Kavita General Store is located in the Purani Sabji Mandi area of Kota. We are quite close to Malik Dental Care, which is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. Being in the old market means the streets are narrow and always full of life. Our shop is a bit cramped because we try to fit so many different items inside. We have everything from spices to cleaning supplies tucked away in different corners. It takes a while to learn where everything is kept. The building itself is old, and the walls have a few cracks that we have patched up over the years. We spend a lot of our time chatting with the other shopkeepers nearby when things are slow. It is a close community in the mandi. When it rains, the water sometimes pools up right outside our door, and we have to be careful that it doesn't come inside. We use a simple hand-drawn sign outside to let people know what we have in stock. There are no computers here, just the old way of doing things with a paper ledger and a calculator that has seen better days. It is just a local business, run by people who live right around the corner and know the names of almost everyone who walks in. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on.
