Jindal General Store

We are located over at 261, Pip Vigyan Nagar in Kota. If you know the Vigyaan Nagar area at all, you probably know we are right near Paras Kirana. It’s a busy little corner of Rajasthan. Most days here start early when we roll up the front shutters and start moving some of the crates around to make space. The shop itself isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular place where we keep the things people in the neighborhood need. Kota can get really hot, especially in the middle of the day, so the fan is usually running at full speed near the counter. We spend a lot of time just arranging the shelves and making sure the packets of snacks and bottles are where they belong. It’s a lot of standing around and talking to the people who walk in from Pip Vigyan Nagar. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road a bit, which causes some noise, but that’s just how it is here. We’ve got the address 324005 on the mail, and we've been in this spot long enough that the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. But for now, we just focus on the daily work, checking the inventory and making sure we don't run out of the basic stuff. It's a simple life at Jindal General Store, just keeping the shop open and seeing the same faces every week.
