Ashok Oil Company

Ashok Oil Company is located on Jhalawar Road, right near the Allahabad Bank. If you know that bank, you’ve probably seen our place. It’s a busy stretch of road and we see a lot of people coming and going all day long. We deal with oil, so things can get a bit greasy around the shop. We have barrels and containers stacked up, and there’s always that specific smell of oil in the air that never really goes away, no matter how much we clean. The staff here is just a few local guys who know the business. We spend most of our time loading and unloading or checking the inventory. Being near the bank is handy because people use it as a marker to find us. Traffic on Jhalawar Road is usually a mess in the mornings and evenings, so we try to get our big deliveries done when things are a bit quieter. It’s a straightforward kind of life. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just open up the doors, see who needs what, and get it sorted out for them. Sometimes we have a chat with the neighbors or the people waiting for the bank to open. It’s just a regular local business trying to get through the week like everyone else. The floors are a bit stained, and the walls could use some paint, but the work gets done and we go home tired but satisfied.
