You can find Jaju Mobile & Gift Shop right by the Auto Stand at Keshavpura Chouraha on Rangbari Road. It is a very noisy spot because of all the autos honking and people waiting for rides. Because of the location, we get a lot of people who are just passing through and need something small. I sell mobile accessories like chargers and earphones, but I also keep a good variety of gift items. It’s a bit of a mix, but it works for the people around here. The shop is small, so I have to be careful about how I arrange the phone cases and the gift boxes so everything fits. I spend most of my day chatting with the auto drivers and the commuters who stop in for a quick purchase. It is a very busy life, and I don't get much sit-down time. Sometimes I forget to eat my lunch until late in the afternoon because there is always someone coming in. I don't have a big staff, just myself and a boy who helps out in the evenings. We keep things simple and practical. If your phone stops charging or you need a last-minute gift for a party, we are right here at the crossroad. It isn't a fancy store with air conditioning, but we have what people usually look for when they are in a hurry. The street lights outside are our main view every evening when we close up the shutters.
