Jain Motors

Jain Motors is over at New Motor Market 2. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when all the shops start opening up. We spend most of our time dealing with grease and metal parts. The floor usually has some oil spots on it no matter how much we try to keep it clean. It’s just the way it goes when you’re working on engines and machinery all day long. Being at shop number 2 means we see everyone coming into the market right at the start of the row. There’s always a bit of a breeze coming through the front, which helps when the sun is beating down on the asphalt outside. We have stacks of parts sitting in the corners and tools spread out on the workbenches. Most days involve a lot of heavy lifting and getting our hands dirty. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There’s always the sound of someone revving an engine or a hammer hitting something nearby. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk about the news or the weather with the guys from the shops next door. Life here is pretty straightforward. You show up, do the work that needs doing, and try to keep things moving. By the time we head home, the whole market is finally starting to quiet down, but then we just do it all over again the next morning.
