About Jain Mava Bhandar – Food & Beverages in Kota
If you walk down Kasim Gali near the Kota Junction you will find Jain Mava Bhandar where we work with milk every day. It is a busy part of town and there is never a quiet moment with the station so close by. Our main job is taking in fresh milk and turning it into mava which takes a lot of patience and steady heat. The shop floor is often wet from cleaning and we have to be careful not to slip while moving the big pots around. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs because the people who need what we make already know where to find us in this alley. The space is a bit small and we have to stack things up high to make room for everyone to move. In the summer months it gets incredibly hot inside and we just try to keep the fans going as much as we can. We see a lot of different people passing through the lane but we mostly stay focused on the stoves and the cooling trays. It is a basic operation without any extra frills or corporate nonsense. We just make sure the product is solid and the crates are packed before the next transport arrives to pick them up.
