Jai Shree Krishna Bhandar

Our shop, Jai Shree Krishna Bhandar, is in Swagat Market, right on Arya Samaj Road in Vijaypara. It’s a busy little corner. We sell a bit of everything that people might need for their daily cooking or household. The shelves are packed with jars and bags, and sometimes it's hard to find things if you don't know where to look. We spend our day weighing out items and bagging them up for customers. The market gets very crowded in the evenings, and the noise from the bikes and cars on Arya Samaj Road never stops. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when there are no customers. It’s a regular neighborhood store. We know most of the people who come in by their names because they live just a few streets away. We don’t do any home delivery or anything like that; people just walk in. The building itself is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it works for us. We have a small photo of the deity near the entrance where we light a lamp every morning. It’s a quiet life of selling small things one by one. Sometimes we run out of stock and have to wait for the next delivery truck to arrive. We just try to keep the basics available so people don't have to go far. It’s a steady routine.
