Being located right at Aerodrome Circle means we are in the middle of all the action. It is one of the busiest parts of town, and the noise from the traffic never really stops. Jai Jinendra Sweets And Namkeens has been sitting here for quite some time, and we have become a bit of a landmark for people giving directions. If you look past all the rickshaws and motorbikes, you’ll see our shop with the stacks of snacks in the window. The heat from the street comes right in, so we stay pretty busy trying to keep everything fresh and cool. We have big metal trays filled with different kinds of sweets, and the namkeen is kept in large plastic containers that we fill up every few days. The staff here is just a few local guys who know most of the regular customers by sight. We don’t use any complicated systems for orders; we just remember what people want and get it for them. Sometimes the circle gets so jammed with traffic that people just park their bikes right in front and run in for a quick packet of something. It’s a fast-paced environment and it can be a bit overwhelming if you aren’t used to the constant honking and the crowds. We just stay behind the counter and keep things moving as best as we can throughout the day and into the evening.
