Jai Durga Bhawani General & Kirana Store

Jai Durga Bhawani General & Kirana Store is located on Kota Doti Road. It is a typical local shop where we sell all the usual kitchen staples like rice, dal, and spices. We also keep general items like soap, buckets, and small household things. The shop is not very big, but we pack a lot of stuff onto the shelves. Sometimes it’s hard to see the walls because there is so much stock. We are out on Doti Road, which is a bit of a main route for people heading into or out of Kota. Because of that, we get a mix of regulars and people just passing through. We don't have any of those modern checkout scanners. We just do the math ourselves and write it down. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. The floor gets a bit dusty from the road, so we try to sweep it out whenever there’s a quiet moment. We’ve been running this kirana store for a good while now. It’s just me and a couple of family members helping out. We know which brands our customers prefer and we try to keep them on hand. It’s a busy life, especially during festival times when everyone is shopping for supplies. We just stay open and serve whoever comes to the counter. It is a simple neighborhood store that has been around for many years.
