India Motors

We are located at number 26 on Jhalawar Road. India Motors has been a part of this busy stretch for quite some time now. The road outside is always full of cars and buses heading out of the city. Our shop is quite simple with a counter and some display shelves for the parts. We don't have the fancy glass windows like the big showrooms down the street. It’s a bit more old-fashioned here. We have a small garage area in the back where we can look at engines. Most people come in looking for specific bolts or filters that are hard to find elsewhere. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers. The floor gets a bit dusty from the road, so we have to mop it twice a day. We have a small cooler for water in the corner which is a lifesaver in the heat. There’s no big team here, just a couple of us who know our way around a motor. We don't do much marketing; people just see our sign when they're stuck in traffic. Sometimes we stay open late if a customer is in a real hurry to get back on the road. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We enjoy the chat with the drivers who stop by. It feels good to help someone get their vehicle fixed and back on the way to wherever they're going.
