Hind Motors Agencies has been operating out of New Motor Market 51 for a good many years. If you walk into the market, you can hear the noise from all the workshops before you even see us. Our shop is packed tight with all sorts of motor parts and boxes stacked up to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when we get a big delivery in the morning. My father started this place, and I’ve been working here since I was a teenager. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of old fans that hum all day long. It gets pretty hot in the summer months. Most of our day is spent looking up parts for mechanics who come in looking for something specific. If we don't have it on the shelf, we have to call around and see who does. It’s greasy work and our clothes usually have a few oil stains on them by the afternoon. We usually have our tea from the stall across the lane while we wait for customers. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or anything like that. People just know us because we’ve been at this address forever. The market is a busy, crowded place but we like it that way. It’s just a regular shop doing regular work for the people in the motor trade.
