Harish Fancy & General Store

Harish Fancy & General Store is situated on Vikas Path near Gobriya Bawdi in Kota. It’s a bit of a mix here because we carry fancy items along with the regular general store stuff. By fancy, we just mean things like hair clips, bangles, or maybe some gift items that people need for birthdays or local festivals. Of course, we have the regular groceries and household supplies too. Kota can get quite hot, so we try to keep the shop cool enough for people to browse for a minute. The road outside, Vikas Path, can get busy, but we are easy to spot once you get to Gobriya Bawdi. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years. Some people have been coming to us since they were kids. It’s not a high-end boutique, just a place with shelves full of different things. We organize it the best we can, but sometimes it takes a second to find exactly what you’re looking for. Just ask us and we’ll point you to the right corner. We don’t do home delivery or anything complicated. People just walk in, get their things, and we have a quick chat. It’s a small local business and that’s how we like it. We open every day because people always need something at the last minute, whether it is a gift or a bag of sugar for their morning tea.
