Hari Sudan Associates (Architects)

Hari Sudan Associates is our architecture practice, and we’ve been at this for quite some time now. We don’t have a flashy office with a receptionist; it’s more of a working space where drawings and models are scattered all over the tables. Architecture involves a lot of back-and-forth with clients and local authorities, so our days are mostly spent fixing plans or checking on how the construction matches our designs. It’s not always as creative as people think; there’s a lot of technical stuff and boring paperwork involved too. We work on a variety of buildings around the area, trying to make things fit the space available. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. Most of our clients come to us because they saw a house we designed or a friend told them about us. It’s a small team here, and we just keep our heads down and focus on getting the blueprints right. Sometimes we're working late to finish a set of drawings, but that’s just part of the job.
