Gulshan Agency & General Store

Gulshan Agency & General Store is located in Bazaar No-4 in Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Rajasthan. We have a bit of a bigger operation than a tiny corner shop because we are also an agency, which means we handle some distribution too. But we still run the general store part for anyone walking by. We stock many different things, from packaged foods to household supplies and toiletries. The bazaar is a very cramped place and there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside. Our shop is often full of boxes that just arrived or are waiting to be moved. It can be a bit chaotic to look at, but I know where every single item is hidden. I spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or checking lists of what we need to order. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just shelves upon shelves of products. Sometimes it’s hard to keep the dust off everything since we are right in the middle of a busy market. We have been here for a long time and have a good relationship with the other shopkeepers in Bazaar No-4. We don't really do any promotion. People know we have the stock, so they come to us. It is a long day’s work, starting early and closing after everyone else has gone home.
