Goyal Kirana Store

Goyal Kirana Store has been sitting here on Gumanpura Dabi Road for quite a while now. We keep the shop open early in the morning so people in Karni Nagar and Nanta can get their groceries before work starts. It’s just a basic neighborhood shop where you find your pulses, rice, and daily cooking oils. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. The shelves are packed with what most households need. Sometimes the stock gets a bit messy when the new bags arrive, but we clear it out soon enough. Most folks who come in live just down the street. It is a quiet spot at number 93, but it gets busy during the evening when everyone is heading home. Dealing with the heat in summer is tough, but we manage. We’ve known some of these families for years. You know how it is in small places, people come for sugar and stay to talk about the weather for five minutes. If we don’t have something specific, we usually try to get it in by the next week. It is just me and a couple of others helping out. We keep track of everything in old registers. It's not a supermarket, just a regular place for regular things. We try to keep things simple and honest. If you’re passing by the Nanta area, you'll see our sign right there on the main road. It stays pretty dusty with the traffic, so we are always cleaning.
