Stone India International

Our yard is located in the Indraprasth Industrial Area on Road No. 5. You have to go behind Apna Dharam Kanta near the Gowariya Bawari Chauraha to find Stone India International. It’s a real industrial setting with a lot of noise and big trucks moving around constantly. This isn't a fancy corporate office. It’s a yard filled with piles of stone. We’ve got different materials sitting out there in the open. Working in this area means we’re right in the middle of all the action. It’s a dusty job, and our clothes are usually covered in it by lunch. We spend our time checking the blocks and slabs as they come in. If a customer needs a specific shipment, we get it ready for the truck. There’s no secret to what we do; it’s just about knowing the stone and what it’s good for. The guys here have been doing this for a long time. We don’t spend money on fancy furniture because we’re usually outside. You’ll always hear the sound of saws or cranes if you come by. It’s just the way things are on Road No. 5. We’ve been here a while and know most of the people working in the nearby shops. We just keep doing our thing, selling stone and getting it moved out.
