Goutam General Store

You can find Goutam General Store over in Nayapura. We are situated right near the Janki Temple. Having the temple so close means we get a lot of people stopping in after they visit. The atmosphere around here is usually quite nice, especially in the mornings. I like to get things ready before the sun gets too high. The shop is small and we try to cram in as much as we can on the shelves. Sometimes it is hard to find things if you aren't used to how I organize it. We sell the basic stuff that people in Nayapura need every day. I don't use any fancy computers or systems here. I just write things down and keep track of what is selling. It is a quiet life for the most part. Occasionally, we get a big group of people all at once and it gets a bit hectic. The temple bells are a nice sound to hear while I am working. Most of the people who come in are regulars who live just around the corner. We talk about the weather or local news while I bag their items. It is just a local store for local people. No big marketing or anything like that, just a sign outside and some goods on the shelves for whoever needs them. I've been here for years and the store hasn't changed much at all.
