Gopal General Store

Gopal General Store sits right in the middle of the Mainn Bazar in Hastara, Chomu. It’s a very lively part of the market, especially in the mornings when everyone is out buying their daily things for the kitchen. We have a lot of items packed into this small shop. From soap to big bags of flour, it’s all here on the shelves. My father started this place long ago, and I’ve been helping out since I was just a kid. Now I run most of it on my own. We are under the Panchyat Simiti Govindgarh area. It’s a good community where everyone talks to each other and shares local news. Sometimes the store gets crowded and people have to wait their turn near the entrance for a bit. I try to keep everything organized, but with so many different items coming and going, it gets messy sometimes. That’s just part of running a general store in a village bazaar. We get deliveries from the city a few times a week, usually on a Tuesday. It’s a lot of unloading and checking boxes in the heat. I don't use any fancy computers to track things; I mostly know what’s in stock just by looking at the shelves. If someone needs something we don't have, I try to get it for them by next week. It’s a simple way of doing things. People come here for their snacks or household bits and stay for a quick chat about the weather.
