Gift Point

Gift Point is located over in Mahaveer Nagar. It’s a pretty simple name for a pretty simple shop. We don’t have a massive showroom or anything like that, just a decent-sized space where we’ve put up as many shelves as we could fit. Mahaveer Nagar is a big residential area, so we see a lot of families and young people who live in the hostels nearby. Most of them come in looking for something like a birthday card, a teddy bear, or maybe a nice watch to give to a friend. We’ve got a lot of variety, which means the place is always a little bit cluttered. There are boxes stacked in the corners and some of the taller items are perched up high where we have to use a ladder to get them down. It’s just how we operate. We spend our days chatting with the neighbors and helping people find something that fits their budget. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find high-end designer brands, but it’s the kind of place where you can find a thoughtful gift without having to drive all the way to a big mall. We like the pace of life here. It’s busy enough to keep us on our toes but quiet enough that we can actually get to know the people who shop with us. It’s just a basic shop that does its job.
